Consulting services are available for small groups or individuals that may be considering the business of raising goats or for those that currently are in the goat business and are interested in expanding and improving your current operation.

These services would include the opportunity to visit our operation.  You would have the chance to ride along as I am feeding my livestock, checking the goats, fence lines and guardian dogs.  As part of this consulting service you will get first hand answers to questions that pertain to your operation and what you want to accomplish.  You will be able to experience the sheep and goat business up close and learn what it takes to raise goats and run a profitable business.

Given this opportunity you will obtain a better understanding of “How to keep ‘em in” and “How to keep ‘em alive”.

You will get first hand knowledge of:

- low cost fencing

- how to acquire no cost grazing land

- predator control

- feeding/nutrition

- health care

- facilities design

- grazing cattle/goats/sheep together

- marketing/when and where to sell

- Other questions will be answered that you don’t even know to ask yet.

If you are just thinking about getting into the business of raising goats or have been raising goats and have experienced some of the problems associated with them, this small investment in your business will pay back many times over.

Consulting visits for groups up to 4 people are available as time permits and must be scheduled in advance.  The fee for these private consulting visits is $395 for up to a 4-hour time frame.
